A few words about me

There are people who don’t just come to “solve a problem,” but to find a way to stand within their lives once again with more understanding, peace, and connection.

Evangelia Kapoglou is a Psychologist and Family Therapist with many years of experience in the field of mental health. In her work, she has accompanied adolescents, adults, couples, and families through periods of difficulty, change, and internal exploration.

With the systemic approach as a core axis, she emphasizes the relationships, roles, and dynamics that shape the way we feel, think, and relate. The goal is not merely “treatment,” but a deeper understanding and the gradual empowerment of the individual within their own life context.

First Steps in Prevention

My professional journey began at the West Athens Prevention Center “Arxis,” where for several years I worked on prevention initiatives, coordinated experiential groups, and supported adolescents and adults on an individual level.

Subsequently, I also took on the role of the structure’s scientific director.

Deepening into Family Therapy

Later, at the “Exelissein” Institute, I continued working in the field of family and adolescent counseling, in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

This experience significantly enhanced the way I approach individuals and their relationships.

How I work

My therapeutic approach is based on systemic psychotherapy, where the individual is understood through their relationships and experiences.

I focus on:
